Motion was withdrawn because of the need to rewrite the zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />More discussion followed with regard to inviting affected property owners to a meeting in May to <br />talk about their plans and ideas of property development in the area. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gorecki to invite owners of undeveloped property to the regular May <br />meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to meet with affected property owners individually after <br />there is a consensus of ideas by the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #l; Road Right-of-Way for Mississippi Bridge Crossing North of Highway #10. <br /> <br />Commissioner Greenberg believes that a road right-of-way should be preserved North of Highway <br />#10, in anticipation of the proposed bridge crossing. Commissioner Gorecki feels that having the <br />road built would make the bridge even more feasible. <br /> <br />Case #2: Taxing Information in the Different Zoning Districts. <br /> <br />The memo from City Assessor John Keefe was read by the Conm~issioners and noted. <br /> <br />Case #3: Building Requirements in the Different Zoning Districts. <br /> <br />This case was tabled. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />The Commission set the agenda for the regular May meeting. The consensus of the Commission <br />was to schedule the regular May meeting of the Economic Development Commission for May 16, <br />1990 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Greenberg and duly seconded by Commissioner Fults to <br />adjourn the special meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Greenberg, Hardin, Fults, <br />Vevea and Gorecki. Voting No: None.
