COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case g2; Resignations of Commissioners Ippel and Wiley from the Economic Development <br /> Commission. <br /> <br />The Economic Development Commission received the letters of resignation from Commissioners <br />Ippel and Wiley. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gorecki and seconded by Commissioner Fults to accept the resignations <br />of Commissioners Ippel and Wiley from the Economic Development Commission and to send each <br />of them a letter of thanks from Mayor Reimann. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Gorecki, Fults, Hardin, Muller <br />and Vevea. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Greenberg. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Gorecki and seconded by Commissioner Vevea to send a letter to some <br />local businesses and inform them of the vacancies on the Economic Development Commission <br />encouraging applicants. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Gorecki, Vevea, Fults, Hardin <br />and Muller. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Greenberg. <br /> <br />Case #1; Flor[her Discussion of Rezoning Proposal. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to make the following changes in the proposal: <br /> <br />Insert the present Subdivision 8 (Zero Lot Line Development) as Subdivision 6 directly following <br />Minimum Lot Size (Subdivision 5). <br /> <br />Items contained in Subdivision 11: <br /> <br />E. The question of railroad spurs was also discussed. Consensus was that railroad spurs should <br />be handled through the site plan process. <br /> <br />F. Driveway Requirements: Commissioner Fults suggested having someone with actual field <br />experience review the ordinance before it is finalized. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fults commented that service roads are now becoming a critical issue. Mr. <br />Gromberg stated that it should be a platting issue rather than zoning. <br /> <br />G. Truck berths: Delete the last phrase in G. 1. defining a specified size. <br /> <br />Items contained in Subdivision 12: <br /> <br />D. Correct the last sentence of the first paragraph to read: The screening requirements shall be <br />satisfied by the use of one of the following as required by the Planning Commission: <br /> <br />D. 1. Height of the screening fence should be changed to six (6) feet in height. <br /> <br />D.2.
