NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1 ) Chief Hoeke explained the proper procedure for filling out the incident reports. <br /> <br />2 ) Turn-out gear is not to be used by any individual who has not been assigned that <br /> particular gear without prior permission from the individual responsible for <br /> that gear. <br /> <br />3 ) The D.N.R. has a "Gama Goat" for Ramsey to use with strings attached which are <br /> the following stipulations: <br /> <br /> A. Must supply people to run it up to 35 miles. <br /> B. Have space to house it out of the weather. <br /> C. Keep it in running order. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Keith Noreen and seconded by Mr. Steven Wilson to recommend to <br /> the Fire Board that Ramsey utilize the D.N.R. Gama Goat. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: All members present. <br /> <br />4) Chief Hoeke asked for opinions on attending the Ramsey Business Expo. <br /> Volunteers were asked to man the booth. Robert Litke, Bruce Bachler, David <br /> Shappell, Tom Hoxter, and Dean Kapler volunteered. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Keith Noreen and seconded by Mr. Steven Engh to purchase $25.00 <br /> worth of smoke detectors and give them away for door prizes. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: All members present. <br /> <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1 ) Badges were discussed and it was suggested that we approach the Fire Board. <br />2 ) Discussion was held on the wearing of our complete uniform during meetings. <br /> The consensus of the Department was to table this issue until the next meeting. <br /> <br />3 ) Chief Hoeke reported that the number of calls that Anoka responded to in Ramsey <br /> in1989 was a total of 114 incidents in 1989. <br /> <br />4 ) Motion by Mr. Keith Noreen and seconded by Mr. Jay Guimont to purchase large <br /> outside mirrors for the grass rig. <br /> <br /> The question was raised as to where the money for the purchase of mirrors would <br /> come from. <br /> <br /> Motion carried.
