1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby finds that it is in the best interests of the City's <br />development goals and priorities for the proposed projects to occur at the sites indicated <br />in the grant applications at this particular time. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby finds that the TOD Project components for which <br />Livable Communities TOD funding is sought: <br />a. Will not occur solely through private or other public investment within the <br />reasonably foreseeable future; and <br />b. Will occur within the term of the grant award (two years for Pre - Development <br />grants, and three years for Development grants, one year for Cleanup Site <br />Investigation grants and three years for Cleanup grants) only in Livable <br />Communities TOD funding is made available for these projects at this time. <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council ranks the TOD Project funding applications, according to <br />the City's own internal priorities, in the following order: <br />4) That the Ramsey City Council authorizes its City Administrator to submit on behalf of the <br />City applications for Metropolitan Council Livable Communities TOD grant funds for the <br />TOD Project components identified in the applications, and to execute such agreements as <br />may be necessary to implement the projects on behalf of the City. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Wise, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #12 -02 -017 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />LCDA TOD Project Names <br />Grant amount requested <br />1 <br />Sunwood Drive <br />$1,250,000.00 <br />2 <br />Center Street <br />$650,369.00 <br />3 <br />Mississippi Skyway <br />$100,000 <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby finds that it is in the best interests of the City's <br />development goals and priorities for the proposed projects to occur at the sites indicated <br />in the grant applications at this particular time. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby finds that the TOD Project components for which <br />Livable Communities TOD funding is sought: <br />a.
