APPROVAL OF PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Chairman Hetland to approve the Park <br />and Recreation Commission meeting minutes dated April 11, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Hetland, Commissioners, Lokker, Johnson, Prall <br />and Roselle. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rustad. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission members noted the following City Council meeting <br />minutes: <br /> <br />I ) City Council public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated March 27, 1990. <br />2 ) City Council regular meeting minutes dated April 10, 1990. <br />3 ) Emergency Special City Council meeting minutes dated April 23, 1990. <br />NOTE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission members noted the following Planning and Zoning <br />Commission meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1 ) Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting minutes dated April 3, 1990. <br />2 ) Planning and Zoning Commission special meeting minutes dated April 17, 1990. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1 Park and Recreation Commission recommendation to City <br /> Council. <br /> <br />Ms. Adelmann told the Commission that she was presently working at the University of <br />Minnesota and that she lives in the City of Ramsey <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed Ms. Adelmann's resume and Chairman Hetland explained to her <br />that the Park and Recreation Commission meet the 2nd Thursday of each month and that <br />the term in which she would be filling is for two and a half years. <br /> <br />Ms. Adelmann informed the Commission that she was withdrawing her application due to <br />the fact that she did not know that it was a two and a half year commitment. She feels she <br />does not have the appropriate time needed to fill the vacancy. <br /> <br />Case #lA: Review .~olic_v for use of Tra.Drock Commons Horse Arena <br /> ~.~resentation b_v Ro_v Shumw~y) <br /> <br />Roy Shumway, 7530 - 163rd Lane, told the Commission that it was brought to his <br />attention that other Cities are being allowed to use Ramsey's riding arena. He explained <br />that the Ramsey Ranger Saddle Club built and maintains the arena except for the mowing <br />which is done by the City.
