Case #2 Review of Jenson Addition minor subdivision.

Merland Otto explained that this is a minor subdivision in Riverside West. It consists of
taking three lots and splitting them into urban size lots for sewer and water. Mr. Otto
recommended accepting cash to satisfy park dedication.

Motion by Commissioner Swokowski and seconded by Commissioner Prall to approve the
sketch plan for Jenson Addition and recommended that the City Council grant final plat
approval contingent upon compliance with the Park and Recreation Commission's
recommendation for park dedication to be satisfied in cash payment of $1,500.00.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Lokker,
Rustad and Swokowski. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Roselle.

Case #3 Review revised Fa_ye Addition sketch plan.

Merland Otto reminded the Commission that on August 8, 1990 they agreed on park
dedication as proposed. Since then Faye Addition has appeared before the Planning and
Zoning Commission twice. Mr. Otto reviewed some of the changes made to the sketch plan
and to the trail alignment at those two meetings.

Chairman Hetland stated that he has some reservations regarding the fact that the trail, as
proposed, crosses three streets.

Merland Otto suggested a few options for the trail alignment.

Motion by Commissioner Prall and seconded by Chairman Hetland to disapprove park
dedication as proposed in the revised sketch plan dated 11-6-90 of Faye Addition.
Applicant should search for some alternatives that would minimize street crossings and
relocate trail away from the street. The Commissions recommended alternatives per the
attached 11-5-90 revision are not intended to be exclusive.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Lokker,
Rustad and Swokowski. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Roselle.

COMMI~$10N INPUT

None.

ADJOURN

Motion by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Prall to adjourn the
meeting at 8:20 p.m.

Motion carried.
