Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12-XX-XXX <br />RESOLUTION — The City of Ramsey Approving the Application and the Transit <br />Improvement Area Plan <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has established a Transit -Oriented Development along <br />the Northstar Corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey continues to develop its downtown development known <br />as the Center of Ramsey or The COR, <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey desires to enter into the TIA Program of the Minnesota Department <br />of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Has approved the Transit Improvement Area Designation application submitted to the Minnesota <br />Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) on March 13, 2012 for the <br />Ramsey Station on the Northstar Commuter Rail line. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />The City of Ramsey has approved the Transit Improvement Area plan described by the City of <br />Ramsey in the application on March 13, 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
