CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 03/13/2012 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />Information <br />4. 8. <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution #12-03-XXX of Support for Local Implementation Capacity (LIC) Grant <br />Background: <br />Staff has learned of another pre -development grant opportunity administered through the Metropolitan Council. <br />Staff is proposing a proposal in the amount of $79,500 for public input and design of Municipal Plaza (Village <br />Square Commons) across from the Municipal Center (current location for Happy Days). A letter of support is <br />required from the City, due March 14th. Staff has preliminarily submitted the grant, subject to the approval of the <br />City Council due to timing.
