Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12-03-XXX <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING SUBMITTAL OF LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION <br />CAPACITY GRANT <br />WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Council has announced the Local Implementation <br />Capacity (LIC) Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, pre -development activities are an eligible activity of the LIC Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has identified a need for public engagement and design <br />services for the implementation of Municipal Plaza. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby supports the application for the Local <br />Implementation Capacity Grant to the Metropolitan Council. <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this 13th day of March 2012. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
