PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, <br />October 3, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses' request for a conditional use <br />permit to have an apartment in the church. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. David Bawden <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mark Banwart noted Joseph and Mary Sentyrz have submitted a letter to the City stating <br />their opposition to the request for a conditional use permit to have an apartment in the <br />Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Terry to adjourn the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Bawden, LaDue, <br />Hendriksen, Terry and Deemer. Voting No: None.
