City Council Budget Committee meeting minutes dated September 19, 1989. <br /> <br />NOTE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />The Commission noted the following: <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission regular meeting minutes dated September 14, <br />1989. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Oleo Acres Addition; Case <br />Of Boyd R. Hanson: <br /> <br />Mark Banwart stated that the proposed Oleo Acres Addition consists of 19.3 acres <br />proposed to be platted into 4 single family rural lots (three 2.5 acre lots and one 10 acre lot). <br />The subject property is located north of 161st Avenue and west of Llama Street. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated September 26, <br />1989. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to accept the <br />sketch plan for Oleo Acres Addition and to recommend the subdivider proceed to the <br />preliminary platting stage. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Crooked Oak Addition; <br /> Case Of John Schultz: <br /> <br />Mark Banwart stated that the proposed plat consists of 4.6 acres proposed to be subdivided <br />into two single family rural lots. The subject property is located east of Nowthen Blvd. <br />and west of Oakwood Hills. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated September 26, <br />1989. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman noted that the plat has soils that may need correcting before the lots <br />can be considered buildable. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to approve <br />the sketch plan and recommend the minor subdivision to proceed to City Council for final <br />plat approval. Further, that the subdivider be notified that a hardship variance to the 2.5 <br />acre minimum lot size will be necessary.
