Mayor Ramsey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12 -03 -041 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRECINCTS AND POLLING LOCATIONS FOR THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota has been redistricted; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey has reestablished the City's Ward <br />line boundaries by Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the voting precincts in the City must be reestablished after the Legislature <br />has been redistricted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey is divided into four wards and eight precincts effective with the <br />August 14, 2012 State Primary Election. <br />2) That the boundaries of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota Statute <br />204B.14, subdivision 3c. <br />3) That the polling places of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statute 204B.16. <br />4) That such boundaries and polling places shall be as follows: <br />Ward 1- Precinct 1: Pathways Community Church, 6341 - 167 "' Avenue NW: Beginning at the <br />intersection of Nowthen Boulevard NW (CSAH #5) and 181 Avenue NW. Thence following <br />Nowthen Boulevard NW (CSAH #5) in a southern direction to the intersection of Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard NW (County Road #57) and Nowthen Boulevard NW (CSAH #5). Thence following <br />Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW (County Road #57) south to the intersection of Alpine Drive NW <br />and Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW (County Road #57). Thence following Alpine Drive NW <br />easterly to the intersection of Roanoke Street NW and Alpine Drive NW. Thence following <br />Roanoke Street NW northerly to the intersection of Juniper Ridge Drive NW and Roanoke Street <br />NW. Thence northerly along the east property line of Lot 11, Block 1, of Reilley Estates (said <br />property address 15637 Juniper Ridge Drive NW) to the eastern City limits (Rum River). Thence <br />following the Rum River upstream in a northerly direction to the intersection with the west <br />property line of Lot 1, Block 6, of Barthels Rum River Acres 2nd Addition (said property address <br />5280 - 161 Avenue NW) thence southwesterly along this line to 161 Avenue, thence westerly <br />along 161 Avenue to the intersection of 161 Avenue and Dysprosium Street, thence northerly <br />along Dysprosium Street to the intersection of with 161 Lane, thence following 161 Lane west <br />to the intersection with County Ditch 3/66, thence following County Ditch 3/66 southwest to the <br />
