<br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY. <br /> <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #12-04, which has been approved by the <br />City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Redistricting is a process that occurs every ten years following completion of the US Census. <br />The City of Ramsey is divided into four wards and each Ward shall have a balanced population <br />with the other Wards within the City. To be within the recommended percentage of population <br />and following the legislative district boundary redistricting, the lines for Wards 1 and 2 have <br />been amended. Wards 3 and 4 remain the same.
