It was the recommendation of City Administrator Ulrich that this case be placed on the April l Oth regular agenda. <br />Recommendation: <br />Case 1: <br />The Personnel Committee recommended approval of resolution #12-04-XXX to accept the resignation of Ms. Stacy <br />Mickelson, a part-time police technician. <br />Case 2: <br />The Personnel Committee recommended approval of resolution # 12-04-XXX to eliminate the <br />Planning/Management Intern and to conduct a recruitment process for a full-time regular Management Analyst <br />position. <br />Funding Source: <br />Case 1: <br />There is no funding required accept the resignation. <br />Case 2: <br />The net 2012 funding required for the Management Analyst position is approximately $19,299. This amount takes <br />into account the savings realized by eliminating the already budged for Planning/Management Intern position and <br />an hourly starting wage of $20.50 per hour. The total 2013 funding for this position is expected to be approximately <br />$59,803, including salary and benefits. <br />Council Action: <br />Case 1: Motion to approve resolution # 12-04-XXX to accept Ms. Mickelson's resignation. <br />Case 2: Not Applicable to this report.
