Mediation Services
For Anoka County

1323 Coon Rapids Blvd.
Coon Rapids, Minnesota 55433
(612) 755-5300

P'.ECEIYED
JUN t I990

....

TO:

FROM:

DATE:
RE:

Dave Hartley
City Manager
Ann Wallerstedt
Executive Director

June 13, 1990

1991 Request for Support for Services

Every year MEDIATION SERVICES asks the communities in Anoka
County to contribute to the operation of the organization to
provide services. Seventeen of the twenty-one communities have
supported the services at 7 cents per.capita in past years. We
have, in fact, provided services to people.in all twenty-one
communities over the past year.

Enclosed is a request for a 1991 contribution from your city/
township. The amount reflec~ a 7% per capita contribution again.

1990 show steady growth for MEDIATION SERVICES. Volunteers
contributed over 1,200 hour of service so far this year and
we can see that more people are interested in solving problems
through mediation than ever before.

I am also interested in making a brief presentation to your
city council/town board this summer. We are doing several
mediations which have taken our program beyond the strictly
neighborhood cases into other concerns of the community. Please
contact me to let me know when I might address your council/board.

Thank you for considering these requests.
