1991 PROPOSED BUDGET <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PART-TIME CERTIFIED TREE INSPECTOR: <br /> <br />An additional pad-time certified Tree Inspector seems necessary for the <br />increase inspection and field coordination. This would allow the current position <br />of Environmental Specialist to continue efforts on the increased open-burn <br />inspections and focus on resident's participation and coordination with disease <br />control and the chipping program. Approximate cost has been detailed below <br />under PT Inspector. <br /> <br />REQUEST HOURS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST BE INCREASED <br />FROM 20 HOURS PER WEEK TO 30 HOURS PER WEEK: <br /> <br />Additional time is needed to accomplish the increase of residents requests. Some <br />of these tasks include tree disease control; open-burning inspections; <br />neighborhood, community, liaison and technical meetings; in-house Community <br />Development assignments, memos, filing, grant proposals, and ordinances.
