CITY OF RAMSEY <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING A TAX CREDIT APPLICATION <br />FOR A FIFTY UNIT WORK FORCE HOUSING MULTI -FAMILY PROJECT <br />A resolution supporting a Tax Credit Application for a Fifty Unit Work Force Housing <br />Multi -Family Project to be known as The Seasons Townhomes. <br />WHEREAS, The Seasons Townhomes of Ramsey Limited Partnership has proposed to <br />build a 50 unit Multi -Family housing development in the City of Ramsey; and <br />WHEREAS, the housing proposal was present to the Ramsey City Council and received <br />support of that group; and <br />WHEREAS, the housing proposal meets the needs of the City of Ramsey as identified in <br />the (Month and Year), Housing Study done by , and is <br />hereby found to be in short supply; and <br />WHEREAS, the success of the application is predicated on local support of the proposal <br />through local contributions, donations, in -kind work, waiver of project specific costs, <br />assessments or fees, or a combination thereof. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ramsey City Council supports <br />the application for the tax credits for a 50 unit multi -family housing project to be known <br />as The Seasons Townhomes and authorizes staff to proceed with the preparation of a <br />Development Agreement providing Two Hundred Twelve Thousand Dollars of local <br />contribution. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ON THIS DAY OF 2012. <br />BY: ATTEST: <br />Mayor <br />(Seal) <br />City Administrator <br />
