Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on the 14 day <br />of February, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />And the following were absent: <br />None <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Councilmember Tossey introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was dispensed <br />with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12 -02 -20 <br />DECERTIFYING TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1 AND RETURNING <br />EXCESS TAX INCREMENTS TO OTHER TAXING JURISDICTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey (the "City ") has heretofore created Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 1 (the "Tax Increment District "); and <br />WHEREAS, the developments to be undertaken within the Tax Increment District as set <br />forth in the tax increment financing plans have been completed and the final tax increment <br />payment has been made or decertification of the Tax Increment District is required pursuant to <br />law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of <br />the City of Ramsey, Minnesota (the "City ") as follows: <br />1. The City Council hereby finds, declares and determines to decertify Tax Increment <br />Financing District No. 1 effective as of December 31, 2011 <br />
