Councilmember Tossey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12 -03 -031 <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING SUBMITTAL OF LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION <br />CAPACITY GRANT <br />WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Council has announced the Local Implementation <br />Capacity (LIC) Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, pre - development activities are an eligible activity of the LIC Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has identified a need for public engagement and design services <br />for the implementation of Municipal Plaza. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby supports the application for the Local <br />Implementation Capacity Grant to the Metropolitan Council. <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Backous and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Wise <br />the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />Resolution #12 -03 -031 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
