CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: Town Center Review Board <br />By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The development agreement between the City and the Ramsey Town Center LLC, <br />defines the creation of a Town Center Review Board. The Review Board is also created <br />in the Town Center ordinances as a necessary step in the planning process for all Town <br />Center approvals. Article 1.2 of the Development Agreement states that the City will <br />appoint members of the Town Center Review Board within 90 days after the signing of <br />the Development Agreement. <br /> <br />Staff would like to discuss the make up of the Town Center Review Board with the City <br />Council and possibly suggest names and the process for the creation of the Review <br />Board. Staff would note that the creation of the Town Center Review Board may bring to <br />a conclusion the necessity of a Town Center Task Force. Members of the Task Force <br />would be eligible for appointment to the Review Board; however, staff would suggest <br />representation from the Plamfing Commission as well. <br /> <br />Action Statement: <br /> <br />Based on discussion. <br /> <br />CCWS: 11/03/03 <br /> <br />-31- <br /> <br /> <br />
