Case #13: Personnel Committee Report: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee is recommending that the full time data <br />entry clerk position be offered to Nancy Blanchette. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution g90-04-117 confirming the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to <br />offer the position of Data Entry Clerk to Nancy Blanchette at the starting rate for salary <br />grade 1 ($12,939) effective April 30, 1990 with the usual six-month probation (1,040 <br />hours) in affect. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee has reviewed the performance of Gayle <br />Rogers and is recommending a salary increase per the AFSCME contract. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution #90-04-118 confirming the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to <br />increase the annual salary of Gayle Rogers per the terms of the AFSCME bargaining unit <br />contract to $19,767 effective April 26, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee reviewed the performance of Penny <br />Curtis and recommended a promotion to salary grade 3. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Resolution g90-04-119 confh'ming the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to <br />promote Penny Curtis from salary grade 2.5 to salary grade 3 due to an increase in <br />responsibilities effective March 1, 1990 and to confirm the additional recommendation of <br />the Personnel Committee to increase the annual salary of Penny Curtis to $22,642 effective <br />January 1, 1990 and to increase the annual salary of Penny Curtis to $24,000 due to <br />promotion effective March 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the Personnel Committee has recommended that the position of <br />patrol officer be offered to Sheldon Erdman. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution g90~04-120 offering the position of patrol officer to Sheldon Erdman effective <br />May 15, 1990 at 93% of top patrol ($30,602) annually and contingent upon successful <br />completion of physical examination, including drug and alcohol screen, and psychological <br />evaluation. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Hartley noted that Mr. Erdman has previous experience with the <br />City of Anoka. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
