T~e first of w~icn is, in essence, data <br />gathering. Again, ~ne City A~orney refeuenced a numDer <br />of national studies as well as sZudies done in the S~a=e <br />of Minnssoaa. Those ara very critical as a basis upon <br />wnic~ ~o formulate regulations. <br /> <br /> Certainly case law and court decisions are another <br />aspect, and the third and primary reason we're ~ere this <br />evening is =o gain inpua specifically from a community <br />affected. Once we have completed this hearing, the nexa <br />phase of effort will be ~o actually pursue tee draft of <br />regulations. That will be done initially by our office <br />in consultation wi~n the City Attorney and ~e City <br />Administrator. We expec~ t~e material coming out of <br />~aose sessions ~o go ~o wor~ sessions in fron= of th~ <br />Planning Commission and CiUy Council.
