Voting No: None Absent: None <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt <br />Ordinance # 90-14 which is an ordinance amending Section 130.04 of the City Code, <br />which section regulates the sale of non-intoxicating malt liquor. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Peterson, DeLuca <br />and Pearson. Voting No: None Absent: None <br /> <br />Case #11: Easement Payment for Rivlyn Street N.W. Improvement <br /> Project #89-13 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to approve <br />Resolution//90-06-174 Authorizing Payment to Myron I. Welty for a Utility Easement. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Cich, Pearson <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None Absent: None <br /> <br />Case #12: Review Concept Drawings of Council Chambers Lectern <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that following the construction of the Council Chambers table, Duane <br />Jones of D & E Cabinets & Millworks was asked to sketch a concept drawing for a lectern <br />for the City Council Chambers. <br /> <br />City Council proceeded to review the concept drawings and determined that the proposed <br />lectern should be down-sized, a proposal should be submitted for a unit on which to store <br />the Council Chambers projector and that price quotes for both should be obtained. <br /> <br />Case #13: Review Survey Benchmarks <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that information is not available regarding survey benchmarks. This <br />case is being removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />A) Improvements to Highway #10 <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley indicated that he has just received information that MnDOT will be resurfacing <br />Highway #10 from Ramsey's border to Anoka. Along with that, MnDOT is proposing to <br />eliminate a number of median crossings. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson noted that the Road and Bridge Committee will be meeting next <br />week to review the proposed elimination of median crossings on Highway #10. Mayor <br />Reimann indicated that the City should try to retain as many crossings as possible unless <br />there is a real safety factor. <br /> <br />B) Flowers in City Hall Gardens <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cich to send a letter of thanks <br />to the Cheerful Chuggers 4-H Club for planting flowers in front of City Hall. <br /> <br />City Council/June 12, 1990 <br /> Page 12 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
