Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig, Mayor Ramsey and Councilmember Wise. <br />Voting No: None. <br />Case #2: Credit Card Analysis <br />Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report and indicated it has been demonstrated that <br />allowing credit card payments has been beneficial to reduce delinquencies. She indicated a <br />quarterly report would be provided and asked for direction whether to charge a transaction fee. <br />Mayor Ramsey stated it would be appropriate to charge a transaction fee if paying on -line to <br />recoup the City's costs. <br />Councilmember Wise concurred. <br />Chairperson Elvig noted Connexus has a fee of about $3. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to direct staff to bring a case <br />before the City Council to recommend instituting a nominal $2 fee for on -line credit card <br />transactions. <br />Motion carried.
