HRA Special Session <br />Meeting Date: 06/05/2012 <br />By: Darren Lazan, Housing & <br />Redevelopment Authority <br />Title: <br />Approve Development Plan 6.0 <br />5. 4. <br />Background: <br />As part of its role as master developer, the HRA has previously reviewed and approved the current development <br />plan, from which the development team works to market and develop the project. <br />Small revisions are continually ongoing to keep the plan current relative to proposals or discussions the <br />development team has with prospective buyers. <br />At major milestones, or in the event of a major revision, the development plan has come forward for review by the <br />HRA. This spring, the development team has made a number of revisions to the previous 5.xx series of <br />development plans, and had prepared a version 6.0 for your consideration and approval. <br />Notification: <br />Observations: <br />Development plan 6.0 has a few noticeable revisions for your consideration: <br />• We have removed the round -a -bout in the center of the project <br />• We relocated the community center site to the former theater site and eliminated the theater at this time. <br />• We have modified the housing units to reflect the current effort with Met Council on housing units <br />• We are showing current development plans for North Commons, Sunwood Retail, and the W30 <br />• Misc. other revisions. <br />Recommendation: <br />The development team recommends the HRA review and approve the proposed development plan 6.0 and provide <br />any input appropriate to future plan revisions. <br />Funding Source: <br />N/A <br />Council Action: <br />Approve the proposed development plan version 6.0 <br />DP 6.0 <br />Attachments <br />Form Review <br />Inbox Reviewed By Date <br />
