CC Regular Session 4.7. <br />Meeting Date: 11/07/2011 <br />By: Tim Himmer, Engineering/Public <br />Works <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution #11 -11 -XXX Accepting the State of Minnesota Agency Agreement No. 99948 with the <br />Department of Transportation for Projects Involving the Delegated Contract Process for Receiving Federal <br />Transportation Funding. (Consider MnDOT Agreement related to Federal Participation for Transportation Related <br />Projects) <br />Background: <br />The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has submitted an updated agency agreement (number <br />99948), which covers the delegated contract process (DCP). This agreement allows MnDOT to act as the City's <br />agent in accepting funds from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and covers all projects for which the <br />City may be awarded federal funds. MnDOT would be responsible to ensure that all federal requirements are being <br />met in the use of the designated funds. The attached agreement is not specific to any particular project, but a <br />general agreement for any transportation related project involving federal funds. <br />Observations: <br />This agreement would supersede the previous agreement approved by the City Council on October 10, 2006 <br />(number 84229), and would run until future revisions are necessary. There are no substantial changes to the <br />previous agreement. The main revisions include the addition of Sections I.J.
