Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -11 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AGENCY AGREEMENT <br />NO. 99948 WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR PROJECTS <br />INVOLVING THE DELEGATED CONTRACT PROCESS FOR RECEIVING <br />FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION FUNDING <br />WHEREAS, the City anticipates partnering with the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />and the Federal Highway Administration on transportation improvements within the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36, the Commissioner of Transportation be <br />appointed as Agent of the City of Ramsey to accept as its agent, federal funds which may <br />be made available for eligible transportation related projects. <br />2) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed for and on <br />behalf of the City to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of <br />Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set <br />forth and contained in "Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency Agreement No. <br />99948", a copy of which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made <br />a part hereof by reference. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 7h day of November 2011. <br />RESOLUTION #11 -11 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
