City Attorney Goodrich advised that under Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.05, Subd.3(b), the <br />meeting can move into closed session to discuss strategy for responding to and defending the <br />lawsuit against the City initiated by Keith Allen Kiefer as a Third Party Plaintiff. City Attorney <br />Goodrich noted the Council had announced the case on public record, this closed session is being <br />tape recorded, and that tape will be maintained for a period of eight years. <br />Motion by Councilmember Wise, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to move to closed session. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Elvig, Backous, McGlone, <br />Strommen and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />Motion by Commissioner Elvig, seconded by Commissioner Wise, to adjourn the closed session. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Wise, Backous, McGlone, <br />Strommen and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />5. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />None. <br />6.
