Volunteers were asked to participate in the Ramsey School Fun Day. Those volunteers are Mr. <br />Jamie Spence, Mr. Bruce Hoeke, Mr. Keith Noreen, and Mr. Jay Guimont. <br /> <br />Officers meeting will now be at 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Keith Noreen and seconded by Mr. Charles Williams to use the funds raised from <br />the softball tournament to purchase educational aids. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mr. Axt, Mr. Engh, Mr. Geving, Mr. Griffin, Mr. Hoeke, Mr. Litke, <br />Mr. Olstad, Mr. Sharp, Mr. Workman, Mr. Noreen, Mr. Guimont, Mr. Drahos, Mr. Wilson, Mr. <br />Peterson, Mr. Williams, and Mr. Spence. Voting No: None. Absent: Mr. Adriaens, Mr. Fjerstad, <br />Mr. Hoxter, Mr. Petrich, Mr. Kapler, Mr. Sandoz, and Mr. LaTour. <br /> <br />Chief Hoeke suggested the use of a 10-game viking season ticket raffle. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Department was to table this issue until further information is available. <br /> <br />Baseballs caps were discussed and Mr. Jay Guimont will obtain a price and availability for the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />The drivers training course on May 13 at the City Hall is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Chief Hoeke will sent in a form for possible donations for a for a CPR training manskin. <br /> <br />Applications must be filled out in any individual would want to carry a portable scanner in an <br />automobile. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />A discussion on what type of invitation for the new trucks should take place. For example a pot <br />luck family get together and open house. <br /> <br />Discussion on the Topics and decisions made at the last Fire Board were presented to the Fire <br />Fighters. More information was gathered and will be presented a the next Fire Board meeting <br />concerning pay increments. Mr. Steve Wilson reported that the grass rig should be finished and <br />delivered before May 6th. <br /> <br />The only radios we have received as of yet have been for the grass rig, the 1000 unit, and 2 <br />walkie talkies. The pagers are to be shipped the first week in May. <br /> <br />Turn-out gear, boots, helmets, everything but coats, and pants have been received. The coats <br />and pants should arrive sometime in May. <br /> <br />The individual Fire Fighters were given their ID numbers. A representative for the fund <br />raisers, Mr. Drahos, will be present at the Council meeting on May 23rd. The Fire Fighters <br />Association Committee is still researching the plans available and will report at the next Fire <br /> <br />VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT/APRIL 26, 1989 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
