Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-11- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO ESTABLISH AN IN HOME HAIR SALON ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 71121 153m) AVENUE NW BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT WHEREAS, the Ramsey City CounCil adopted Resolution #03-11- adopting Findings of Fact # for this use and herein approves the Home Occupation Permit'. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMS'EY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: On November __, 2003 a Home Occupation Permit ("Permit") was issued by the City of Ramsey ("City") to Julie Lorge ("Permit Holder") for a home occupation to establish a one chair hair salon in the dwelling on the property generally known as 7021 157 Avenue NW and legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 1, Sandy Acres, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property:") This permit [s issued pursuant to Section 9.03.05 and 9.11.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: That this resolution shall allow for the establishment and operation of a one-chair hair salon on the Subject Property. Should the Permittee die or move to a new location, the Permit shall be automatically terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the Permit without further hearing. o The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total floor area of the private dwelling. Adequate water supply and on-site sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of the Permit Holder. 5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. 6. There shall be no business signs visible from the exterior of the home. 35
