introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-11- RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR SHORT TERM OUTDOOR STORAGE IN THE E-2 EMPLOYMENT DISTRICT, BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # , AND DECLARING THE TERMS OF SAME. WHEREAS, Bruce Volk, hereinafter referred to as "Permit-tee", has properly'applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit (Permit) to allow outdoor storage as a secondary principal use on the property located at 14165 Ramsey Blvd. and legally described as follows: All that part of the west 31 rods of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west'l~ne thereof, distant 335.51 feet south ~¥om the northwest corner thereof, as measured along said west line; thence south along said west line a distance of 335.51 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the northerly right of way line of Northern Pacific Railway; thence southeasterly along said northerly right of way line to its intersection with the east line of said west 31 rods; thence north along said east line thereof a distance of 448.92 feet, more or [ess, to a point on said east line thereof distant 448.92 feet south from the northeast corner of said west 31 rods as measured along said east line thereof; thence northwesterly in a straight llne to the point of beginning. Except Parcel 2, Anoka County Highway Right of Way Plat #16. (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on November 6, 2003, conducted a public hearing and recommended that the City Council approve the request to store RV's and/or travel trailers outdoors as a secondary principal use on the Subject Property; and WHEREAS, the City Council met on ,2003 to review the request for an interim use permit to allow for outdoor storage as a secondary principal use on the Subject Property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04A of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of this permit are as follows: l) The Permittee is herein allowed to store a maximum of seventy (70) travel trailers or recreational vehicles (RV) in an orderly manner in a confined area that is 100 feet by .225 feet located in the rear yard on the Subject Property and shown on the attached exhibit. 45
