Motion by Dick Kruger to approve the 8/21/03 meeting minutes, <br />Mary Jo Olson seconded, motion passed. <br /> <br />Presentation. Mary Jo OIson gave a brief presentation on several new residential and mixed- <br />use developments from around the country, including Easton, Ohio and the Heritage Park <br />neighborhood in Minneapolis. There was discussion of the Town Center Gardens <br />development and how its design will complement the Town Center. <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Discuss Draft Residential Zoning District Language. Associate Planner Geisler <br />discussed the first draft of the R-2 and R-3 residential zoning districts, for the purposes of <br />increasing architectural standards for multi-family development in the City. Chair Kiefer <br />asked the Committee to add fences and outdoor storage standards to the discussion. Ms. <br />Geisler said both issues were being taken up at a staff level; she will provide the <br />Committee with an update at its next meeting. <br /> <br />The Housing Committee discussed the draft zoning code and made several changes. <br /> <br />Motion by Mary Jo Olson to adjourn the meeting, Suzanne Dvorak seconded, motion passed. <br />Meeting adjourned. ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
