CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER . 10 OF THE RAMSEY CITY.CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS THE ANIMALS CHAPTER OF THE RAMSEY, MINNESOTA, CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 52 -70, DOGS. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursu- ant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. SECTION 2. OFFICIAL SUMMARY The following is an official sum- mary of Ordinance #12 -11. The cur- rent City Code contains a procedure to appeal "Dangerous Dog" designa- tion. However, Code did not contain an appeal process for animals deemed "potentially dangerous ". Through adoption of this Ordinance #12 -11, a section has been added to appeal Potentially Dangerous" desig- nation. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this Ordi- nance is thirty (30) days after its pas- sage, subject to City Charter Section 5.07. PASSED by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of July, 2012.
