ORDINANCE #12-XX <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 6 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS <br />KNOWN AS THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES CHAPTER OF THE RAMSEY, MINNESOTA, <br />CITY CODE. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, ARTICLE I, In General —Section <br />6-4 Consumption in public places <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. REPEAL <br />Article I, Section 6-4 Consumption in public places of the City Code is hereby repealed and <br />replaced with the following new Article I, Section 6-4 Consumption in public places. <br />SECTION 3. AMENDMENTS <br />CHAPTER 6 <br />ARTICLE I- ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES <br />DIVISION 1. - GENERALLY <br />Sec. 6-4. — Consumption in public places. <br />The following words will be added to section 6-4: Except by permit or license. <br />Except by permit or license, no person shall consume intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt <br />liquor in a public park, on any public street, sidewalk, parking lot or alley, or in any public place <br />other than on the premises of an establishment licensed under this chapter or where the <br />consumption and display of liquor is lawfully permitted. <br />
