Councilmember <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />RESOLUTION #12-06-XXX <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CITY IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #12-00; 2012 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, on March 13, 2012 the Ramsey City Council ordered Improvement Project <br />12-00; 2012 Street Maintenance Program, and called for the preparation of plans and <br />specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 22, 2012 the Ramsey City Council accepted the plans and <br />authorized the solicitation of bids; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 12-00; 2012 <br />Street Maintenance Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the bids that were received: <br />Contractor Bid <br />Engineer's Estimate $600,000.00 <br />WHEREAS, XXX is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with XXX for Improvement Project 12-00; Armstrong 2012 Street Maintenance <br />Program in the amount of $XXX, and <br />2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION #12-06-XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
