1 ORDINANCE #12- <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 CITY OF RAMSEY <br />5 ANOKA COUNTY <br />6 STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />11 SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />12 MINNESOTA. <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 117-114 (NEIGHBORHOOD <br />16 BUSINESS DISTRICT) AND 117-115 (B-2 HIGHWAY BUSINESS DISTRICT) OF <br />17 CHAPTER 117 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE. <br />18 <br />19 The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />20 <br />21 SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />22 <br />23 This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />24 Ramsey. <br />25 <br />26 SECTON 2 AMENDMENTS <br />27 <br />28 City Code Section 117-114 and 117-115 is hereby amended as follows (additions indicated as <br />29 underline. deletions indicated as sic thro abk): <br />30 <br />31 Sec. 117-114 B-1 Neighborhood Business District. <br />32 <br />33 (a) Intent. The intent of the B-1 General Neighborhood Business District is to provide <br />34 a commercial area for goods and services for the surrounding neighborhoods and <br />35 community on a smaller scale than the B-2 Highway Commercial District. <br />36 (b) Permitted uses. The following are permitted uses, subject to general requirements <br />37 and performance standards as specified by this chapter: <br />38 (1) Enclosed retail and retail service activities without outdoor activities. <br />39 (2) Restaurants and cafes. <br />40 (3) Offices and banks. <br />41 (4) Personal and professional services. <br />42 (5) Funeral homes. <br />43 (6) Medical clinics. <br />44 (7) Laundromat, self-service washing and drying. <br />1 <br />
