AND~ gf~]N£IL.INP[1T <br /> <br />Councilm~mber Reimann stated that he and Councilmember Sorteberg have received <br />some information and will be making a complete report to Council. <br /> <br />Council consensus was to place Police Time on the regular March, 1986 Council <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich referred to Item 96 under Letters and Communications regarding <br />Senator McQuaid's proposed legisation dealing with liability and insurance <br />situations surrounding government and stated that there is no question that any <br />one citizen or the city as a whole would benefit from lowering insurance rates. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg directing <br />City Staff to contact Senator MoQuaid and indicate to her Ramsey's support of <br />her proposed legislation regarding liability and insurance situations <br />surrounding government. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox asked Mayor Heitman for a report on the Northern Mayors <br />Meeting held on February 20. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman replied that he did not attend the Mayors Meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that he recalls an agre~ent being made among Council <br />that if the Mayor was not able to attend certain meetings, he should make <br />arrangements for the City to be represented in his place. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~ber Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann that in the <br />event the Mayor is unable to attend certain meetings at which Ramsey should be <br />represented, he should make appropriate arrangements for Ramsey's <br />representation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Mayor Heitman to adjourn this <br />regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heih~an, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
