Councilmember Cox stated that it can be addressed but it is a fact that <br />drainage flows to the north and to the west into Lake Itasca and then flows <br />parallel to that area adjacent to the railroad tracks and southeast. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the meeting back to order at 9:40 p.m. <br />Case #5: High Water Pumping (Continued): <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he has received approximately 20 calls from people <br />indicating that pumping has a positive affect. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann noted that it was drier in the Fall of 1985 than now and <br />the City pumped water to relieve problems over the winter; with the snow melt <br />and rainy season upon us, pumping will not begin to lower the water. A <br />decision on how to finance storm sewer improvements should be made on April 29. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to table a decision <br />on pumping high water until April 29, 1986. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and $chlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Adoption Of Resolution Regarding Completion Of County Ro~ ~116 <br /> Across The Rum River: <br /> <br />Motion by Conncilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #86~ regarding the completion of County Road #116 across the Rum <br />River and authorize Staff to direct it to the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce <br />and the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #86- 6~. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox inquired if Ms. Norris has had any input <br />from Burns. Ms. Norris replied that Burns has adopted a like resolution; <br />Anoka and the School Board will be adopting the same. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers $orteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Adoption Of Ordinance #86-3 Rezoning Mr. Robert M~ll~r's Property <br /> From R-1 Residential To B-1 Business: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember $chlueter to adopt <br />Ordinance #86-3 rezoning Mr. Robert Muller's property from R-1 Residential to <br />B-1 Business.
