~uBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman adjourned the regular meeting at 7:45 p.m. in order to conduct <br />the following public hearings: <br /> <br /> 1. Improvement plans for Flintwood Hills Second Addition - Phase II <br /> improvements. <br /> <br /> 2. Consideration of adoption of Ordinance #86-1, an amendment to <br /> Ordinance #82-14, the Cable Communications Ordinance. <br /> <br /> 3. Proposed utility extension to the City's Industrial Area. <br /> <br /> 4. Improvement and extension of 153rd Avenue NW from Puma Street NW <br /> to Andrie Street NW. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the regular meeting back to order at 8:06 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />~ Flintwood Hills Second Addition - Phas~ II I~p~ovement~: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that plans and specs were ordered for Phase II of Flintwood <br />II at the March 25, 1986 Council meeting contingent upon the developer <br />providing a cash escrow; that escrow has not yet been provided. <br /> <br />Council took no action. <br /> <br />Case ~2; Adoption Of Ordinance #86-1 Amending O~dinan¢~ #82-14, Cable <br /> Communications Ordinance: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to adopt <br />Ordinance #86-1 amending Ordinance #82-14, Cable Communications Ordinance. <br />(Refer to ordinance file for Ordinance #86-1). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Proposed Utility Extension To The City's Industrial Ares: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman noted that this case was continued to April 29, 1986 by Council <br />action taken at tonight's public hearing. <br /> <br />Case #4: Extension Of 153rd Avenue NW From Puma Street TO Andrie St, NW; <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that he will be meeting with the District Engineer <br />regarding 153rd terminating on Hwy. 10; plans to tie into Jarvis are not being <br />pursued because of Elk River's opposition to having Jarvis designated MSA. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to table <br />this case until the most timely Council meeting at which the City Engineer can <br />have the following information available: 1) Terminus point of 153rd; and <br /> April 22, 1986 <br /> <br /> Page 5 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
