Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12 -05 -076 <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR A <br />PATROL OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Kyle Hemmerich was hired as a replacement patrol officer on June 1, <br />2011; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hemmerich has successfully completed his one year probationary <br />period as a Patrol Officer; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its May 8, 2012 meeting agreed with staff's <br />recommendation to end the probationary period for Kyle Hemmerich, effective June 1, 2012. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to <br />end the probationary period for Patrol Officer Kyle Hemmerich, effective June 1, 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Tossey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />
