Mayor Ramsey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #12 -06 -081 <br />RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE RESIGNATION OF THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Amy Dietl, the Deputy City Clerk, submitted a letter of resignation on <br />May 15, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends accepting Ms. Dietl's resignation; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has identified an alternative means to address the Deputy City Clerk's <br />work and is not requesting to replace the position <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council accept Ms. Amy Dietl's resignation as the Deputy City <br />Clerk. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />
