PART II - CODE OF ORDINANCES <br />Chapter 117 - ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS <br />ARTICLE II. - ZONING <br />DIVISION 8. - SIGNS <br />Subdivision I. - In General <br />(b) Balloons, gas filled figures, streamers, whirling devices and revolving searchlights or any such <br />attention -getting device that is not specifically a sign may be permitted up to four weeks per year, for one <br />week at a time. <br />(Code 1978, § 9.12.05; Ord. No. 94-02, 2-28-1994; Ord. No. 08-07, § 2, 2-12-2008; Ord. No. 08-25, § 2, <br />8-12-2008; Ord. No. 10-11, § 2, 7-27-2010) <br />Secs. 117-466 — Other Temporary Sians <br />(a) Real Estate Signs. One temporary real estate sign constructed of durable materials located on the <br />premises is permitted for sale or lease of building or vacant lot for each street frontage. <br />(b) Construction Signs. One temporary construction sign constructed of durable materials located on <br />the premises is permitted on each street frontage of a development under construction. <br />Secs. 117-467 — Unified Development Signs <br />(a) General provisions. A unified development is a development that consists of multiple parcels of <br />similar zoning district and bound by maior roadways consisting of arterial or collector designation or <br />higher. Signs for multi -tenant commercial and employment developments may be erected to include <br />off -premise copy under the following conditions: <br />(1) The sign must identify the development at the top of the sign and may include provisions <br />for individual users within the development. <br />(2) The sign must be located within 500 feet of the development and may not be separated <br />from the development by an arterial road. <br />(43) The sian must not exceed 250 square feet per face (500 square feet aaareaate) and 30 <br />feet in height. <br />(54) The sign may include dynamic display not to exceed 100 square feet per face (200 square <br />feet aaareaate). <br />(65) The sian will not be included in the total sianaae permitted for the property in which it is <br />located. <br />(7-6) The general location of area identification signs for commercial and employment districts <br />must be approved by the Planning Commission as part of a Master Sian Plan approved as <br />part of site plan approval. <br />117-468-117-483. - Reserved. <br />Ramsey, Minnesota, Code of Ordinances <br />Page 7 of 7 <br />
