Councilmember <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />RESOLUTION #12-10- <br />APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITION OF SALE FOR OUTLOT A RAMSEY <br />TOWN CENTER 3RD ADDITION, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City is the fee owner of Outlot A Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota ("OLA"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City by its ordinance #12-13 has authorized the sale of OLA; and <br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance #12-13 required that the City establish by resolution the <br />consideration and terms upon which OLA may be sold; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the sale is necessary to facilitate the <br />proper planning and use of said property and adjacent properties and specifically to accommodate the <br />future plat of COR Two; and <br />WHEREAS, in the planning process and platting of COR Two, property owner Sophia <br />Ramsey, LLC a Minnesota limited liability company will lose an access to its adjacent property, <br />which benefits the City by facilitating the platting of the COR Two plat; and <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the majority of the land comprising the COR Two plat is owned by the City; <br />WHEREAS, the City finds that the loss of an access by Sophia Ramsey, LLC in order to <br />facilitate the platting of COR Two is sufficient consideration for the conveyance (sale) of OLA to <br />said Sophia Ramsey, LLC. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Ramsey City Council that the terms and <br />consideration upon which OLA may be sold area as follows: <br />Fee title to Outlot A, Ramsey Town Center 3rd Addition may be conveyed (sold) to Sophia <br />Ramsey, LLC immediately with the consideration being that the City is not obligated to <br />compensate Sophia Ramsey, LLC for the loss of its access point as a result of the COR Two <br />plat. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was fully seconded by Councilmember, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
