The project schedule is such that following the public hearing, there is a 30 day waiting
period before Council can order the project; plans and specs could be ordered and approved
and bids accepted in May; construction would begin in July or August; the assessment
hearings would be held in September.

Mayor Reimann noted receiving a letter from Mrs. Symanietz at 17711 Vanadium Street
N.W., in which she expressed concern that she would receive two units of assessments
because she lives on a comer lot.

Mr. Otto replied that Mrs. Symanietz is proposed to receive one unit of assessments and he
will convey this to her in writing.

Mr. Otto referred to Beaudry's Second Addition and stated that the estimated total project
cost is $7851.00; 31.5 units are proposed to be assessed. The per unit cost is $249.24,
amortized over a 3 year period.

The project schedule for Beaudry's Second Addition is similar to that of Rodeo Hills.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adjourn the
public hearing.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Pearson and
DeLuca. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson.

The public hearing adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,

Sylvia Frolik
Secretary

City Administrator

City Council Pubilc Hearing/March 28, 1989
Page 2 of 2
