Blvd. Mr. Raatikka then reviewed the costs for installation and maintenance of street lights with <br />Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca directing City Staff <br />to authorize Anoka Electric Cooperative to install four street lights in Riverview Estates. <br />Furthermore, the lights are to be cost mounted 150W HPS traditional luminaire photo control with <br />23 foot black fiberglass poles. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca noted that the easement acquisition stated that the <br />poles would be of metal and those proposed for installation are fiberglass; suggested obtaining a <br />waiver to metal fixtures from Ralph and Doris Elofson. Councilmember Cich inquired if the radius <br />of the proposed fixtures will provide adequate street lighting. Mr. Banwart noted that Planning <br />and Zoning has been researching street lights and the type proposed in Riverview Estates is typical <br />for residential streets. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Report From Personnel Committee: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the Personnel Committee met and recommended offering the position of <br />Personnel Coordinator to Kay McAloney. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Resolution <br />#89-05-107 extending an offer of employment to Ms. Kay McAloney for the position of Personnel <br />Coordinator at a starting rate of pay of $18,500 per year and a starting date of May 30, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #16: Appointment To Fire Board: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to appoint Mr. David <br />Bawden to the Fire Board for year 1989, after which the person may be reappointed by the City <br />Council at it's organizational meeting in January, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Cich, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #17: Amend Northfork P.U.D. Plat To Correct Street Name: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Ordinance <br />#89-16 changing Andfie Road Northwest to Andrie Street Northwest. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #18: River's Bend Park Status: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto recalled that the City received bids for development of River's Bend Park South but no <br />award of contract was made because of conflicts in the County's Rum River Bridge project.
