Mr. Otto recalled that the River's Bend park project included seed application. Mr. Otto stated that <br />the residents are anxious to use the park and requested Council approval to increase the rate of seed <br />application to insure good turf cover prior to park use. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich authorizing the City <br />Administrator to contact the contractor for River's Bend Park Project $88-14 for the purpose of <br />negotiating an increase to the seed application rate at a cost not to exceed $1200.00. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #21: Status of Site P: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that the Site P subcommittee did meet and discussed legislative activity that would <br />eliminate the entire landfill siting process. It would be to Ramsey's benefit to provide data <br />indicating the siting process is flawed. Mr. Otto suggested that the Site P subcommittee meet again <br />to prepare recommendations on how to proceed. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />b) Discussion of RYAA application for food service license <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that RYAA is requesting Ramsey's support of their application for a food <br />service license. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson indicating <br />Ramsey's support of RYAA's application for a food service license and directing the City <br />Administrator to draft a letter from the Mayor conf'u'ming same. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />a) Discuss vacancy on Quad Cities Cable T.V. Commission <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to accept Mr. Jack <br />Beissel's resignation from the Quad Cities Cable T.V. Commission, to forward a letter to Mr. <br />Beissel thanking him for his years of service on the Commission and to direct City Staff to <br />advertise the vacancy in the Anoka Union, Ramsey Resident and on Cable T.V. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adjourn the <br />regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
