Chairperson ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-02- <br /> <br />A RESoLuTIoN DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO JEFF AND <br />BARBARA ROCKOW AT 18015 UTE ST. NW (PERMITTEES) FOR THE FRONT <br />YARD SETBACK FOR AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE, TO CONSTRUCT AN <br />ACCESSORy STRUCTURE CLOSER TO THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE <br />PRINCIPAL~ STRUCTURE, AND TO THE ESTABLISHED SETBACK FROM A <br />NATURAL E~VIRONMENT LAKE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jeff and Barbara Rockow (Permittees) have properly applied for a variance <br />from Section [9.11.02 (Accessory Structures), Section' 9.20.11 (R-1 Residential District), and <br />9.21.04 (Shoreland Overlay District Development Standards) of the Ramsey City Code for the <br />front yard setback for an accessory structure, to construct an accessory structure closer to the <br />front property line than the principal structure, and to construct an accessory structure within the <br />established setback of a Natural Environment Lake, on the property generally known as 18015 <br />Ute St. NW anrd legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That parti of the north half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: <br /> <br />From a ppint on the east line of said north half of the Northeast Quarter said point <br />being 12.76 chains south of the Northeast comer thereof, said point also being the <br />centerlinei of public road: thence south 82 degrees, 30 minutes west on said center <br />line of said road a distance of 1010.0 feet; thence northerly parallel with the east line <br />of said S~tion 1, a distance of 451.0 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract <br />to be desdribed, said last described line also being the easterly line of road easement; <br />thence e~terly parallel with the north line of said Section 1, a distance of 155.00 <br />feet; thence northeasterly deflecting to the left 40 degrees, 47 minutes 0 seconds a <br />distance df 191.87 feet to its intersection with a line drawn parallel with and distant <br />700.0 feei west of the east line of said Section 1; thence northerly along said parallel <br />line a distance of 101.75 feet to its 'intersection with a line drawn parallel with the <br />north linel of said Section 1, distance 227.0 feet north from the point of beginning as <br />measured lalong a line parallel with the east line 'of said Section 1; thence westerly <br />along said parallel line a distance of 301.59 feet to its intersection 'with said line <br />drawn northerly and parallel with the east line of said Section 1 from the point of <br />beginning,; thence southerly along said parallel line a distance of 227.0 feet to the <br />point of bgginning.
