Insects and rodents on the site shall be controlled and exterminated as needed <br />and additional control may be directed by the City Inspector subject to all applicable laws, <br />rules and regulations. <br /> <br />Water Quality. Surface and ground waters originating outside and passing through or <br />adjacent to the Subject Property and runoff water discharged from the Subject Property shall, <br />at its point of departure from the Subject Property, meet all applicable federal and state water <br />quality standards as they exist from time to time during the period of the Permit. The <br />Permittee shall perform any water treatment necessary to comply with applicable state and <br />federal .water quality standards as they exist from time to time during the period of this <br />Permit. In the event of future development, grading and drainage plans shall be submitted <br />to and approved by the City Engineer and berming shall be installed as necessary to control <br />run-off. <br /> <br />Off-Street Parking. Off-street parking shall be provided such that there is at least one <br />parking space for each employee on the maximum working shift plus a sufficient number of <br />additional parking spaces to provide off street parking to all customers and visitors. <br /> <br />Surfacing of Work Areas. All storage areas, parking areas and driveway areas shall be <br />surfaced with bituminous or concrete. Installation of concrete curbing around the perimeter <br />of all existing pavement shall be deferred until a future expansion of the facility. <br /> <br />Electrical. The building's electrical system must be inspected and brought.up to code <br />before the effective date of this Permit. An affidavit of compliance shall be filed with the <br />City within five working days after final inspection. <br /> <br />Scope and Conduct of Operations. The operations permitted by this Permit may be <br />performed on the Subject Property in conformance with existing statutory and regulatory <br />authority and requirements of the City, Anoka County, Minnesota ("County), and the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency ("MPCA"). <br /> <br />Furnaces. Permittee may use two melt furnaces. <br /> <br />Closure Due to CUP Revocation, Other Circumstances. In the event this Permit is <br />revoked, or the Permittee closes operation of the metal and rail recycling and storage <br />operation for any reason, including but without limitation, c~rder of the court or other agency <br />of competent jurisdiction, bankruptcy, incolvency, or abandonment, the Permittee shall <br />immediately proceed to remove all feedstock and other material fi~om the site. In the event <br />the Permittee fails to comply with the terms of this Permit, the City may, upon 30 days <br />written notice to the Permittee enter into the property and perform all such obligations, the <br />costs of which shall be borne by the Permittee or, in default thereof, by its surety. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-06-241 <br /> Page 5 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
