CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 1989 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br />Mr. Merland Otto/Hakanson Anderson Associates <br />Reporter Neal Tardy <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. and led in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street N.W. - Stated that his neighborhood is <br />participating in the decentralized woodchipping program; the chippers were to his <br />neighborhood 3 weeks ago; 3 piles of brush were left unchipped; the chippers have not <br />returned. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that he will follow up on the woodchipping status for Mr. Fountain's <br />area. <br /> <br />Mary Wolfbauer ~ 4947 179th Lane - Stated that Ute Street is in poor condition as far as <br />width and drainage; requested Council consideration of upgrading the road and accepting it <br />as a public street. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that consideration of upgrading Ute would require receipt of a petition <br />from the residents in favor of the improvements. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann requested that the City Engineer provide Council and affected residents <br />with a very preliminary study regarding improvements to Ute Street. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve <br />the agenda with the following adjustment: <br /> <br />City Council/July 11, 1989 <br />Page 2 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
