EDA # <br /> <br /> 2003 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR <br />By: Megan Wald, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Each year at the Ramsey Business Appreciation Day, the City presents a business with the <br />Business of the Year award. <br /> <br />The EDA has used the following general criteria when considering nominees: <br /> <br /> 1. Been involved in all aspects of the community. <br />2. Provided for the maintenance or expansion of the commercial/industrial tax base of the <br /> community through the development of new business ventures or the retention or expansion <br /> of existing business. <br />3. Expanded or retained the employment base of the community. <br />4.
